Lauráceas lodge

Lauráceas Lodge is a mountain lodge located in San Gerardo de Dota.
It is located just two hours from San José, Costa Rica, near Los Quetzales National Park.

At Lauraceae you will find a complete experience of relaxation, contact with nature and hospitality. In addition, through our dishes we give you a gastronomic tour of our area: we rely on locally produced ingredients such as avocado, apple, trout, among others.

We have rooms, a botanical garden and a restaurant.

About us


This is how Lauraceae was born!

More than a family project, Lauraceae is an extension of our family in Costa Rica.

For many years we had the dream of developing a tourist establishment where we could share with visitors the natural beauties of San Gerardo de Dota, in a warm and quiet environment where we could also share our family recipes and local production. In 2019 that dream became a reality, and since then we have been working every day so that our guests and diners take home a beautiful memory of San Gerardo de Dota.
