Les baies vitr\u00e9es permettent de se sentir immerg\u00e9 dans la nature (les colibris venaient butiner devant nous). Malgr\u00e9 la fra\u00eecheur de Dota, notre chambre \u00e9taient tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9quip\u00e9 en couette, couvertures,\u2026 Nous avons dormi au chaud.\nLe restaurant \u00e9tait excellent \u00e9galement. \nLe jardin botanique accessible quand on est r\u00e9sident de l\u2019h\u00f4tel est tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able.\n\n\u2639Tout \u00e9tait parfait. Spacious and comfortable lodge. Food at the restaurant was very good. Staff were awesome too. The gardens were well worth a look. Nice walks in surroundimg area. Lodge organised a bird tour for us and we saw quetzals. Good drive down from the main road highway. Would recommend 4x4 and always allow more time than you expect. Would stay again.\n\n\u2639Not much. Lodge and surrounding area was a bit chilly at night. En la habitaci\u00f3n hay un caf\u00e9 deliciosos de libre disposici\u00f3n. \nLas chicas fueron super simp\u00e1ticas y nos ayudaron con todo lo que quisimos.\nEl desayuno y la cena fueron los mejores durante nuestro viaje de 15 d\u00edas por Costa Rica.\nPor \u00faltimo el tour que reservamos con ellos para buscar el quetzal fue genial. Facilities were limited but were a high standard. Menu was varied and v nice food and wine. Lodge was very comfortable with plenty of bedding for the cold nights in the mountain. Access to beautiful lauraceas botanical garden was included in the price and only a short walk away. The high number of birds that visited the garden was fantastic. There was also a trailhead to a waterfall within walking distance. Other restaurants and hotels were nearby too and a shop which sells souvenirs made by the guy himself. Las habitaciones son hermosas. La propiedad est\u00e1 al lado de la carretera (muy, muy tranquila), pero las caba\u00f1as est\u00e1n elevadas y tienen enormes ventanas que dan directamente a la zona boscosa al otro lado de la carretera (y al hermoso jard\u00edn delantero, para que puedas sentarte en la ventana y observar los colibr\u00edes). ven a alimentarte! ) . Nuestra habitaci\u00f3n estaba impecablemente limpia, con camas enormes y c\u00f3modas y un ba\u00f1o enorme e impecable. Hace fr\u00edo por la noche, como otros han mencionado, pero est\u00e1bamos s\u00faper c\u00f3modos debajo de todas las mantas (y puedes pedir un calentador). Los propietarios y el personal no familiar son s\u00faper encantadores y la comida, LA COMIDA, sin duda, la mejor que comimos en nuestro viaje de dos semanas, con diferencia. Lauraceas Lodge fue uno de nuestros lugares favoritos. Prefiero la temperatura en la mayor altitud de las monta\u00f1as de Talamanca, y las temperaturas diurnas en el albergue estuvieron bien para m\u00ed. Hace un poco de fr\u00edo por la noche, pero las camas tienen muchas mantas. La comida del restaurante era estupenda (comimos all\u00ed para el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena): aguacate con casi todo. El jugo de durazno estaba muy bueno. Se enfrent\u00f3 bien a las necesidades vegetarianas y sin gluten. Las habitaciones son grandes, con amplia ducha y un sal\u00f3n\/terraza con vistas al r\u00edo. Mi \u00fanica queja es que por la noche la iluminaci\u00f3n de la habitaci\u00f3n no es adecuada: necesit\u00e1bamos una linterna para encontrar cosas. La iluminaci\u00f3n LED moderna podr\u00eda solucionar este problema r\u00e1pidamente sin aumentar la factura de energ\u00eda. El servicio de lavander\u00eda fue r\u00e1pido pero caro. Las habitaciones ten\u00edan jarra y cafetera que funcionaba. (No hab\u00eda caja de seguridad en la habitaci\u00f3n). El WiFi estaba bien. Preferir\u00eda alojarme aqu\u00ed de nuevo en lugar de en el cercano y mucho m\u00e1s popular hotel Savegre. Habitaci\u00f3n grande, ba\u00f1o grande y sala de estar grande con porche exterior. Las caba\u00f1as parecen justo en el estacionamiento, pero una vez que est\u00e1s dentro de las caba\u00f1as, la elevaci\u00f3n es tal que puedes ver el \u00e1rea de estacionamiento y ver el r\u00edo. Hermoso huerto de aguacate detr\u00e1s de las caba\u00f1as. Los jardines y arbustos que rodean la propiedad est\u00e1n llenos de colibr\u00edes y otras aves. El desayuno era bueno, se sirve en el restaurante al lado del check-in. All\u00ed tambi\u00e9n hay un bar y una cafeter\u00eda. Propiedad muy tranquila aunque est\u00e1 cerca de la carretera. Me gust\u00f3 que hubiera una tetera y una cafetera francesa en la habitaci\u00f3n, con caf\u00e9 local reci\u00e9n hecho en una jarra y t\u00e9s. Hay muchos restaurantes excelentes a poca distancia o a poca distancia en auto. Los jardines de Lauraceas cercanos son preciosos y un gran lugar para observar aves, etc. Se recomienda un veh\u00edculo todoterreno 4 x 4 para el camino hacia el valle. Es bastante empinado en algunos lugares y en algunos tramos no pavimentados. Ropa de cama, ducha, etc. El restaurante era magn\u00edfico y todos all\u00ed eran muy amables y serviciales. El jard\u00edn que se menciona est\u00e1 a bastante distancia y realmente no es muy \"p\u00e1jaro\". Agregar\u00e9 que este albergue no est\u00e1 de ninguna manera aislado ni remoto, ya que da a una calle muy transitada. Est\u00e1 en una zona agradable, pero creo que nuestra estancia habr\u00eda sido mejor en un lugar alejado de la carretera principal y con calefacci\u00f3n. Incluso con el peque\u00f1o calentador que suministraron, \u00a1la habitaci\u00f3n estaba FR\u00cdA por la ma\u00f1ana! ! Mi estimaci\u00f3n ser\u00eda de unos 55 grados Fahrenheit. La segunda noche fue un poco m\u00e1s c\u00e1lida, tal vez 60 grados. Si todav\u00eda est\u00e1s despierto en la oscuridad, los coches pasan y pueden ver lo que est\u00e1s haciendo. Hay una cortina que separa las camas de la zona de estar, pero no me gusta sentirme como un pez en una pecera mientras tomo un sorbo de caf\u00e9 a las 5 de la ma\u00f1ana. Es un lugar nuevo por lo que los olores son molestos. Las s\u00e1banas no se lavan en todas las estancias, as\u00ed que me preocupaban las s\u00e1banas. Los olores son mi cr\u00edtica mixta. Nada ol\u00eda a fresco. \u00a1Las almohadas son terribles! Duro y plano. Sin coosh (mi palabra) y con mi dolor de cabeza por la altura, no dorm\u00eda m\u00e1s que 3 horas por noche. El desayuno estaba bien, no espectacular. Y no s\u00e9 de qu\u00e9 hablan todos cuando dicen que los propietarios son una familia y muy amables y amigables. No experimentamos esto. Nos sent\u00edamos inc\u00f3modos con \"su\" personalidad. Conocimos a una chica y tratamos de evitarla porque me sent\u00eda como una molestia. Le di a esto una estrella porque creo que es necesario bajar la calificaci\u00f3n. No merece nada m\u00e1s que 3 estrellas. Y debo mencionar que no somos una pareja dif\u00edcil. Hab\u00eda notado los jardines en visitas anteriores, pero nunca los visit\u00e9 hasta marzo pasado. Absolutamente hermoso, incluidos adornos de jard\u00edn caprichosos y jardineras r\u00fasticas. Die Zufahrt bis San Gerado de Dota ist speziell, da auf teils unbefestigter Strasse es sehr steil abw\u00e4rts ins Tal geht 4x4 empfehlenswert. Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und preislich angemessen. Die Betten haben dicke Decken, so dass man in den kalten N\u00e4chten nicht frieren muss. Sehr empfehlenswert. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet, die Preise sind sehr fair. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Aufs Haus gab es eine Bananen Ceviche. Wir bestellen die hausgemachte Tomatensuppe und die Forellenceviche. Als Hauptgang hatten wir dreimal Forelle mit S\u00fc\u00dfkartoffelp\u00fcre und Tagliatelle mit Seafood. Alles schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Todav\u00eda lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Todo lo que todos dijeron en las rese\u00f1as es cierto. Est\u00e1 bien administrado y los anfitriones siempre son f\u00e1ciles de encontrar y \u00fatiles. Es una propiedad muy peque\u00f1a con solo 3 o 4 habitaciones disponibles, as\u00ed que reserve tan pronto como pueda o se lo perder\u00e1. El desayuno incluido era muy bueno pero se le quita medio punto por lo repetitivo que es. Tienes 4 opciones, pero una es un plato de frutas, otra es solo panqueques (sin huevos ni tocino para llenarte), y no recuerdo la \u00faltima. La mejor y m\u00e1s obvia opci\u00f3n es el desayuno tradicional con arroz y frijoles, huevos, pl\u00e1tanos, frutas, etc. asi que . 5 una estrella menos que perfecta. Gran ba\u00f1o, pero ten cuidado, el azulejo est\u00e1 resbaladizo. Habitaci\u00f3n enorme y c\u00f3moda con dos camas tama\u00f1o full y una sala de estar con una mesa y 2 sillas m\u00e1s un sof\u00e1. Toneladas de espacio. Las camas son fabulosas y acogedoras. El \u00fanico aspecto negativo es que instalaron la cabecera en la pared de una manera que hace imposible usar los enchufes junto a la cama.
